Freezing Winter Weather

School was canceled due to icy road conditions, so I thought I should go out and take a few photos. Enjoy.

Korean Art

Mt. Sorak-San South Korea

A lovely Green Rice Paddy and the Winter Brown.

Every summer, Korea turns green. Not necessary with trees and grass, but with Vegetables and Rice Paddies. When the breeze blows, the vibrancy of the green changes and it is a truly amazing site. But, as winter approches the vibrant green fades to yellow and after the rice is harvested the ground is bare and deathly. Everything is brown and depressing.

Also, in the background of this photo there is an old Korean grave site. On the actual grave, they place a rounded mound of dirt. No stones, just mounds. Truly unique.

This picture is right after harvest.... But, it is not winter just yet in the photo.

South Korea

Everyone in Korea Squats. Honestly, I find squatting for hours painful, but they do not seem to mind it.

I did not know which one was better. Color or no Color?

Old China

One of my favorite memories of China was the tea houses. While some were urban and trendy, others were still stuck in traditional buildings. I found them beautiful and defiantly unique.

Statue

I thought this was pretty neat looking.
